More than Strong

A Group for Black Mothers and Caregivers

We formed this group after seeing a need in our community for a space for pregnant and postpartum mothers to come together to support one another and learn about ways to take care of themselves while taking care of others.

Topics will include:
Societal expectations
Mom culture
How stress impacts the body
Depression and anxiety
Self-advocacy
Impacts of trauma
and more

Interested?

Who: Black and multi-racial women who are pregnant or up to 18 months postpartum. You may have other children as well.
We will be meeting via Zoom on Tuesdays through 11/15/22.
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Group: Up to seven people
Cost: FREE

Meet Your Counselor

Bri Campbell is a LPC Resident with A Tree Planted Counseling. Her work focuses on perinatal mental health, where she provides support to individuals from pre-pregnancy to parenthood. Bri is passionate about creating spaces for Black, Indigenous, and people of color to achieve wellness and healing.
